Filer High School - ROAR

Cats caught ROARING the Wildcat Way!

Teacher of the Month

Cole Meyerhoeffer

Mr. Meyerhoeffer has been teaching at Filer High School for two years. He teaches Physical Science to our freshman. He enjoys writing and is currently writing a book! We appreciate you ROARING The Wildcat Way!

Sophomore Student of the Month

Porter Anderson

Porter is a respectful student who shows up early and stays late to help. He works well with others (teachers and students alike). Porter is a member of a number of clubs and leadership roles. On top of all this, he is receiving straight A's. Porter Anderson is a physical example of what doing things the Wildcat Way represents.

Freshman Student of the Month

Alexis Robertson

Alexis is very respectful to teachers and students. She always has a smile on her face and is extremely Accountable when it comes to her grades and class assignments. Even when she is out of school for Cross country she is resilient and always gets her work before she is gone so that she doesn't miss anything.

Junior Student of the Month

Nicholas Hatch

Nicholas is a great example of ROAR! He is not only a wonderful student in school, but he is a model citizen outside of school. His peers appreciate his kind demeanor and look to him for friendly interactions. He is also an avid volunteer for service projects.

Senior Student of the Month

Breyer Meeks

Breyer is always respectful in class, maintains good grades, and makes every effort to be accountable. His positive attitude is reflective in the halls as he is often the first to greet you with a friendly "Hello." His resiliency to represent FHS both on an off the field is also admirable! For these reasons, and many more, we recommend Breyer Meeks for our ROAR Student of the Month!

Counselor’s Corner Recommendation

Cassie Madsen

Cassie is always cheerfully does what I ask of her even if I know she may not really want to do it!
